1) Integrated Development of Major Towns (IDMT)Scheme
Goa is the only State in the country, which possesses the distinction of achieving high-level economic and social development. An average GSDP growth of over 10% per annum, the highest per capita income and high level of human development indicators vouch for the heights of development achieved by the State.
Goa State Urban Development Agency, GSUDA is a Government of Goa Undertaking Agency registered under Societies Registration Act and is functioning under the aegis of Directorate of Municipal Administration, Government of Goa, Panaji, Goa.
The State Government has devised the scheme of Integrated Development of Major Towns scheme which is a 100% State Sponsored scheme for the up gradation of Urban Infrastructure.
Problems of urban areas such as sanitation, cleanliness, transportation and parking were all left unattended during past several years. Hence the Government in the Budget Speech of 2012-13 proposes a plan outlay of Rs.2000 crores over five years, to make urban areas pleasant to live in and address the major issues.
2) FRANCIS Urban Connect Scheme 2013-2014
The Fair Recreational Activity and non Competitive Involvement in Sports, Urban Connect Scheme 2013 is approved by the Government as a sub-scheme of the Integrated Development of Major Towns Scheme (IDMT) under the Department of Urban Development. The said scheme is published for the information of the public. Fair Recreational Activity and non Competitive Involvement in Sports, Urban Connect Scheme 2013 In Short: F.R.A.N.C.I.S. Urban Connect Scheme 2013. This Scheme shall operate within the provisions of the Integrated Development of Major Towns Scheme (IDMT).A scheme of Assistance for the use of urban spaces for Recreation and Sport.
3) Good Governance
Web portal wherein services rendered by the 13 municipal councils and Corporation of City of Panaji can now be availed ONLINE through this site- https://goaulbservice.gov.in.
This effort has gone a long way in easing of the burden of the citizens at large in terms of reducing physical visits and time.
